Name the Squirrel!

Above the fog!
We live on a hill and I love it when we're above the fog.  That means we get to see the sun!
It's been raining cats and dogs and is going to continue to do so in a few days, but for right now, I can see the sun and IT'S NOT RAINING and THAT'S AWESOME.

Here's a picture of the hat that I just finished.  I love these two shades of orange and green together!!!  The yarn that I used is Rowan  Kid Silk Haze and Felted Tweed Aran.  The Kid Silk Haze is what gives the hat the fuzzy look and very soft feel.

Don't miss the hand-made button on the top!
I'm still working on my second felted stocking and I'll have pictures of that to show you soon.  I work on a bunch of projects at once, so here's a picture of another hat that I'm making.  This one is also made with the same Rowan yarns but I've also added the white yarn which is by Blue Sky Alpacas and is called Suri Merino. The Suri is baby alpaca and is absolutely the most wonderful fiber in the world to knit.

I love these colors too!

Finally, this little guy was born under our deck this summer.  We've watched him grow to be this size.  He comes to visit us every day and he eats the birdseed from our bird feeder. He was the tiniest little thing when he was born, only a few inches long when we first noticed him. He's now about 5 or 6 inches long, not including the big bushy tail.

He or she needs a name!  If you have any ideas, email them to me.

     9 days 'til Christmas!!!
